Compliance Assurance Corporation (CAC) is a fast-growing, well respected company that provides regulatory risk management software to insurance companies. Due to our significant growth we are looking for B-2-B sales professionals to work out of our downtown Pittsburgh offices and will be responsible for introducing our regulatory compliance solutions to insurance executives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and closing new opportunities
  • Creating customized presentations
  • Completing proposals and RFPs
  • Presenting to executives and sophisticated marketing professionals
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Manages client expectations effectively
  • Negotiating contract rates
  • Developing a growing understanding of our technology, and keeping up with industry developments
  • Reporting on sales progress and attainment of goals
  • Communication with cross-function support teams
  • Some travel may be required in order to attend trade shows, industry events, and to meet with prospects (15-25%)

Position Requirements:

The successful candidate should have/be:

  • One to five years of experience, preferably selling B2B/Enterprise software
  • Ambitious, competitive, self-motivated and most importantly, PROFESSIONAL
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus, but not a requirement
  • A Bachelor’s degree desirable, but not required for the position
  • An Associate’s degree, plus proven success in sales may be substituted

  • Review and research laws and regulations from multiple Internet-based sources
  • Read and analyze regulatory and statutory changes
  • Prepare comprehensive business requirements for the changes to be disseminated to industry end-users

Position Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A law degree
  • Background in insurance and regulatory compliance, preferably with 6 or more years of experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate legal concepts to non-lawyer audience

  • Strong legal research abilities using Westlaw and other Internet-based resources
